I dropped by Beautiful's place a day prior to the wedding to stalk her. Amidst all the conversation, the groom to be, Francis calls her and I answer the phone. Our man goes, "What the hell are you doing at Mel's place?!" It was funny.

I drove down to the South and met the South Goan. We abused each other's respective territories, met a well behaved stray dog and then indulged in some good Goan food. Here is another shot of the Varca Beach that same evening.

The sun set into the horizon and the sky put on a dark shade of blue, while the receding tide reflected what was left of the sunlight.

These are my close friends. In less than two months from now they will be walking down the aisle and saying, "I Do". I shall be "I doing" (photographs) along with them.

Daniel on the phone, probably texting Adrian, "Freak, go check on the suits. You are not best-man for nothing". And, I guess Mel is wondering why two months feel so far away!

Today I met some of my friends, again! But this time at another spot. Miramar beach. We sat down, ate some Sev Puri, watched the sun set, made fun of ourselves and others. This is a shot of the lifeguards cabin. The cool spot at the beach I guess.

Late evening after the sun had set, I headed off to my Grandmother's place to say, "Hi!" Thanks to the retreating rains, the compound wall had some weeds to flaunt. Soon these would be a thing of the past.

The Old Hall

Finally I am back home. I have this urge to make a short film. Something deep and meaningful. But, ideas just don't seem to sink in as of now. Yet just for kicks, and just to try out video editing software, I decided to make a micro movie of the Old Hall at home. We call it the "Old Hall" since we have another hall and thats the "New Hall". The new hall is boring. It got the TV, some showcases, grilled windows, etc and is made of concrete.

The Old Hall on the other hand is this tiled roof room, with huge windows that open up the fresh air. I has a lot of old stuff lying there. A 25+ year old dining table, that was and is still being used as a study table. A couple of rocking chair that are still going strong and a lot more.

I grew up in the old hall. This is a shot of the documenting going on. Lots of cutting to start now.
